This kit is for plant hackers who want to dive into tissue culture experiments without fiddling with milligram scales. You still get MS Medium doses, agar and jars, but your PGRs arrive as ready-to-use 1 mg/mL solutions.

Just add a measured millilitre into your medium, and you’re off.

What’s included

Media & agar

• 10 × MS Medium 1 L doses (4.74 g each)
  – Enough for up to 10 L of MS Medium

• 1 × 50 g tissue culture agar jar

PGR stock solutions (1 mg/mL)

• 1 × 30 mL IBA solution

• 1 × 30 mL NAA solution

• 1 × 30 mL 6-BA solution

Each bottle is:

• 1 mg/mL in ethanol + water

• Prepared under clean lab-style conditions, not filter-sterilised

• Suitable for hobby/educational tissue culture experiments

How easy is it to use?

Example:

• To make 1 L of medium with 1 mg/L 6-BA:

  • Add 1 mL of 6-BA solution to MS + agar mix and stir
    

  • Sterilise your MS + agar mix

  • Allow to cool
    

• For 0.5 mg/L, just use 0.5 mL per litre.
